The Epic Games Store's 15 days of free games rolls on, and this time we're getting some bonafide classics of the RPG genre with the first three Fallout games.

Now available for free download through the standard Epic Games Store promotion page are Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics (opens in new tab).

You have until Friday, December 23, 8 a.m. PST, 11 a.m. EST, and 4 p.m. GMT to claim them. As usual with Epic's giveaways, you effectively "purchase" these titles for nothing.

They'll always be available in your library when you purchase them, just like any game you might buy with real money.

Even while Fallout is now much more well-known for its post-Bethesda incarnation than for anything else, the first Fallout games are the reason one of gaming's largest franchises got its start.

While more recent games offer post-apocalyptic exploration that is bigger, simpler, and more approachable, Fallout and Fallout 2 offer much more tactical depth and consistent storytelling.
