Twitter users' votes for Elon Musk to stand down as the social network's CEO have heightened the uncertainty around the company's future in San Francisco.
57.5 percent of the 17.5 million users who participated in the poll, which closed on Monday morning, voted in favour of Musk resigning, according to the poll's final results.
It is unclear who Musk will select as his replacement or if he will honour the poll.
