While we were somewhat dismayed by Ninja Theory's absence from The Game Awards 2022, it appears we won't have to wait long to learn more about the studio's forthcoming projects, which of course include Hellblade 2.

In a short and charming Christmas message, the team said that additional "dev diaries" will return in the new year.

As for what will be displayed in these development diaries, we have not yet been notified.

A few years ago, the team demonstrated how it was working on the game's audio in Iceland, but that was before we had seen Hellblade 2's actual gameplay.

These developer diaries may potentially provide additional information on another planned Ninja Theory game, Project Mara.

The team has shown us bits and pieces of the game, albeit in a more "behind the scenes" role, since January 2020.
